Colorful Kids
As your kids get bigger, their crayons get smaller. Do you not want to throw away small or broken crayons because it is such a waste? While our kids used crayons may sit on the shelf and their new crayons bring creative thoughts to life, the used crayons are a pot of gold for the kids of orphanages and impoverished schools. Colorful Kids is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, charitable organization. Our mission is to give a chance to underprivileged orphans and impoverished students to have a more colorful life.
Colorful Kids believes that all kids need a creative outlet. Many of these children need a means of expressing themselves. Expressing the trauma of losing their family, genocide, or the hunger of one meal a day; the joy of finally getting a chance at an education, finding a new group of similarly orphaned brothers and sisters, or sharing their hopes and dreams for a peaceful world where we all may be different colors but together we can make a beautiful rainbow. Colorful Kids gives a bright future.
Why used crayons? These crayons will go directly to the orphanages and schools and students. Although we screen the facilities, it is possible that new crayons could end up sold in the market, while used crayons will not sell in the market, thus ensuring the kids really get a chance to color.
How to help Colorful Kids:
You can donate used crayons by enclosing them in a disposable zipper bag (Ziplock) and mailing them to:
